The Garden of Warriors
The rooftop of Casa Milà is one of the most famous in architectural history. Gaudí transformed a functional space into a work of art, where ventilation towers and chimneys become monumental sculptures. These 28 chimneys, grouped together and often covered in trencadís (broken ceramic mosaic), are known as the "garden of warriors" for their resemblance to helmeted figures standing guard over the city.
